Annada College, located in Hazaribagh, is a prominent institution in the North Chotanagpur region of Jharkhand. As the only college in this area managed by a linguistic minority community, we take pride in our unique contribution to education. Since we opened our doors in 1979 with 64 students, we have quickly established ourselves as a leader in the education sector. Our recognition as a Linguistic Minority College by the Bihar Government on January 4, 1989, through Letter/Memo No. 13/A6-052/82, solidifies our commitment to excellence. We are unwavering in our mission to promote the Bengali language and culture. The Department of Bengali Language and Literature at Annada College offers an online platform that empowers students to learn language easily. We are determined to make Bengali language learning accessible not just to the residents of Jharkhand, but to learners across India and around the world.
